Sorry, but I actually understood more from the description of the strategy you posted than from your questions. Or actually I didn't see too many questions but statements on your part, so I'm not sure if there is an actual list of questions, or I just didn't understand them, or didn't dig deep enough. That's why I assumed that you may not understand some theoretical issues that could be answered differently based on opinion rather than facts. Though one somewhat clear question I noticed was on "????? I am lost here". I understood that paragraph as changing the direction of the bet (from short to long or vice-versa) while doubling down (increasing the bet) to make up for the previous loss and basically betting more on the new reversed trend/direction.
Thank You for the reply. I must observe and confirm your interpretation as to what is actually happening in the forward test. Thanks for your effort. Es
This morning so far...Just Guppy driving thus far. If I had only waited 1.5 hrs to start the EA in a better spread zone instead of Sunday at MOO...just 1.5 hrs longer and save 30-40 bucks per 0.05 basket...
Two pair now engaged...This gets interesting when all the pair are going for it...you gotta' watch and get out when you get the profit you want. I have seen a drawdown of $100.00 so far on this trade-set. It has cycled up to -$20.00 but does not go further yet. Last week it ran for the entire 5 days for $368.85 but I want $625.00. I will watch how this week progresses and keep an eye on the drawdown amount to give me an idea of the swing size and if +$625.00 will even be possible. It's only Monday. This is where I get lost in the rules (don't the trailing stops trigger the other side)? Not always? Why? Why does Guppy have 2 sells and 1 buy? Why does EUR/NZD have 2 sells and no buy open?
I googled Urdala_Trol https://www.google.com/search?q=urd...i60j69i61j0.6190j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Three pair have now had positions taken. USD/CHF remains untraded (see attachment below for red annotation).
The way that I trade this should combat the significant DD's on "set & forget" handling of this EA. ES
