I don't think it's a grand conspiracy as much as a combination of financial illiteracy on the part of the masses and simplistic headlines (and financial illiteracy) on the part of the media. You're a perfect example. You said: "Cheer up, TARP money was repaid by all banks. It's time to move on." That conveniently ignores the AIG bailout pass-through payments, the loan guarantees, the fed purchases, preferential tax breaks etc.... Even you have to agree, the banks got more than just TARP, correct?
Salaries and compensation of Hollywood elites will now come under the juristiction and scrutiny of Kenneth Feinburg, the pay czar! After all, if the Banking Industry is subject to this oversight. Why not Hollywood. Equal Protection demands this!!!!!!!!
No one has ever suffered fiancially because their movie collection lost value. Suffering through insufferable movies,yes, of course. There should be arbitration re: getting your ticket refunded. A fund set up and paid into by all the actors, producers and directors, lmao.
