  3. they are not because shorts keep thinking this market is going down and load up on every down move... only to be crushed the next day when the market gaps and goes against them with no hope of getting out even.....

I love 100% up room to go $$$

Mr Grime, I take it that un-gentlemenly swipe was at moi?

Sure, my timing was off. But we are closer the the recent highs than we are the recent lows. In my book longs are kicking-ass and enjoying life while the bears are sweating bullets....

  7. The market is 2 sided gentleman. I know you, Krazykarl and 100% up to room guy think it only goes higher, but there is lots of $ to be made shorting broken charts. Seasonality is not on you're side, nor are interest rates, commodities etc... I am by no means a perma bear, but you guys are perma bulls, and that is a dangerous mindset in a 3 + year cyclical bull market.. Food for thought.. Happy trading.

  8. I appreciate your acknowledging there are 2 sides here.....

I have exposure to 3 sectors right now: specialty finance, commodities and tech. Seasonality is not on my side for tech, i agree with you; however, news is causing my aapl to pop.

I also see some broken charts, but more money is made going with the trend then bucking it.

    good luck grimey.

Yes I am a "perma" bull on the broad market but only while it is going up. So long as that it the case I will continue to berate the bears. Once it starts going down I will be a perma bear and will taunt the bulls with equal veracity!

    Ahhhh!

the smell of burnt bear fur....

Yet another day that the mkt has every reason to follow through to the downside......BUT it does not!

What doesn't go down, must go up!

Shorts are praying for an opportunity to cover before NFP...
