I am trying to research the impact that certain 10:00 eastern economic reports have on a trading system that I am backtesting.

Does anyone know of a website or a source for historical economic reports that were released on on each trading day in the past?

I normally use sources like briefing.com to tell me what reports are scheduled for this current week, but that site doesn't seem to keep an archive of past week's reports.

For example I need to be able to go back on the chart for any random day like 4/16/2000 and see what reports were scheduled to be released on that day. I need to be able to test this going back at least 3 years and it seems that most of these websites for economic calendar's only keep the archives for a few months.

I sure would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks.

  2. You can try this:

    http://biz.yahoo.com/c/ec/200305.html

You can either go back in time by clicking continuously on "last week' or you can simply change the address to the week in question, eg 200245 for the 45th week of 2002. I think you can go back to at least the beginning of 2001.

    Thanks Macal425,

Yes, I saw that site also, but it wouldn't let me go back to year 2000. I need to be able to go back at least that far. But thanks for your help.
