His story directly contradicts many aspect of the National Commission on Terrorist attacks though corroborates many other eyewitness testimony. ÃStanding outside the firehouse with my buddies, we were talking about how beautiful the day was. Then just like that, our lives changed forever. Some of those guys I would never see again.à In this exclusive interview, Firefighter Schroeder recollects in great detail how he was one of the first firefighters to rush to the complex. ÃWe first assembled on West Street, where we saw someone burnt beyond recognition. We were like ÃWhat is going on here?à and then went straight into the Marriot buildingà From there, Firefighter Schroeder made his way to the lobby of the North Tower. ÃIt looked like a bomb went off, and we started making our way up the stairs to rescue as many people as we could.à As they were making there way up the floors, Firefighter Schroeder heard a huge explosion. ÃThe elevators just blew right out. We couldnÃt believe it. The plane hits 80 floors up but the elevators explode at least five minutes later? It was unreal.à Firefighter Schroeder made it all the way up to the 23rd floor before barely hearing on the failing radios that another plane was coming in. That plane would hit the South Tower though for some reason ÃWe were tossed like a rag doll by another explosion in our building. People were making there way down the stairwells burnt like you couldnÃt believe. We were all shocked because it seemed as if there was fire everywhere, on so many floors. It just didnÃt make senseÃ. The stairwells were black, and at that point, firefighters were making the decision to head back down stairs. In making there way down to the third floor, they were not able to find an exit. ÃThe lobby was like a war zone. We could not find our way out. Then, all of a sudden, one of the maintenance workers had a key that opened a back door that got us out of there. He saved my life.à That worker was Willie Rodriguez. ÃI want to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Firefighter Schroeder today has lost 40% of his lung capacity. ÃWe havenÃt been treated properly at all. From the day of the attack, our physical and mental health has deteriorated and it seems as if no one cares. To lose friends, to have to recover their bodies in the days after, to be offered no protections against that horrific-smelling dust that was everywhere even though the government said the air was OK to breathe is just not right.à Some of FirefighterÃs SchroederÃs best friends have gotten out of the FDNY altogether while others accepted money and trips to help. ÃI stayed right here and did the right thing and now it feels as if IÃm suffering the most. New Zogby Poll: 51% Of Americans Want New 9/11 Investigation 67% also fault 9/11 Commission for not investigating anomalous collapse of World Trade Center 7 Zogby International Thursday, September 6, 2007 Kansas City, MO (Zogby International) September 6, 2007 - As America nears the sixth anniversary of the world-churning events of September 11, 2001, a new Zogby International poll finds a majority of Americans still await a Congressional investigation of President Bush' and Vice President Cheney's actions before, during and after the 9/11 attacks. Over 30% also believe Bush and/or Cheney should be immediately impeached by the House of Representatives. The 911truth.orgâsponsored poll also found that over two-thirds of Americans say the 9/11 Commission should have investigated the still unexplained collapse of the 47-story World Trade Center Building 7 at 5:20 p.m. on September 11, 2001. WTC 7 housed the mayor's emergency bunker and offices of the SEC, IRS, CIA and Secret Service and was not hit by any planes but still completely collapsed into its own footprint nearly eight hours after the Twin Tower attacks. FEMA did not explain this collapse, the 911 Commission ignored it, and the promised official study by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is now 2 years overdue. Theres a plethora of credible witnesses who state bombs went off in the building before and after the planes hit. Mostly first responders and WTC workers. Look up the WTC janitor story. An entire sub-basement area (containing key core columns) was "vaporized" shortly after impact. The air was heavy with fine particulate post-explosion...

It is a very dangerous thing to go through life prepared to believe (esp) the official line of governments, when the evidence does not stack up to support it. Personally I thought much of the Lose Change stuff was way out there, but it did one thing well - begged questions that MUST be asked & which deserve well supported answers. I am not from the US, but I can tell you with hand over heart what happened that day changed my life. Witnessing horror always should. I will never forget as I watched it all unfold on television from 12,000 miles away, wondering whether friends of mine in those buildings & another who was on (we thought, but luckily missed by 10 minutes) flight 11 out of Boston that morning, were alive (thankfully they are). The answers to the questions being raised by people on the ground that day (NYFD, other ERS & WTC employees) MUST be pushed for, even if they are never really forthcoming. It will be a truly sad day that the American people accept without a fight the deceptions apparent in the official explanation of the events of that day and all of the ensuing errosion of your democratic freedoms at the hands of a GOVERNMENT.
Well "my" government (crap I can't wait for Novemeber when our mongrel Prime Minister is going to get his conniving, bullshitting ass handed to him on a plate) just signed a trade deal with Russia & India to sell them our Uranium - for energy use only of course - which free's up their existing sources of weapons grade to use in nuclear weapons proliferation. . .Personally I think this has been a back-door deal between GWB & John Howard to bring things with Iran to a head. Anyone want to open book on who will be the first to sell their newly freed up weapons grade to Iran at a handsome profit??
