Our device isn’t meant to make employees more efficient,” co-founder Alexandros Vardakostas has said. “It’s meant to completely obviate them.”

Maybe that landowner should have considered the rules before violating the Clean Water Act :)

With all of the drawback of EPA, could you suggest an alternative way of preventing us from fucking up the world around us?

Make the full chain - synthetic meat and a burger-making machine. Obsolete both the farmers (and the farm subsidies in the process) and the people who cook them

That man and his family probably has more respect for the environment than 20 chicken-sh*t gov't lackey's who can't see the forest for the trees combined.
    And....He won in court.
    A solution?
Common sense in enforcing rules. There's the letter of the law and the spirit of the law.
Property owners in this country have rights too. We were founded on that principle.
Until one has been a victim of government bullying by mental midgets that have a perceived and sanctioned power that they can use against those who CAN'T fight back... and who are powerless against those that CAN... its very hard to understand the injustice.

I'll sum it up in a nutshell with all politics aside... That's why Trump won. BS like this.
That man and his family did nothing wrong. He owned that land. He has a right to do with it what he pleases within reason. A 400x200 pond does not merit 17MM in fines. Its ridiculous. And its the reason so many stood up and said ENOUGH.

300x40, according to the report linked. That's a measly 12K square feet. Just look at the picture! How can that little hole-in-the-ground, filled with water, hurt anything? The government was right to lose this case. $16,000,000 in fines for it? That 12K sq. ft. of land is probably worth $200. Assholers.

And I would be willing to bet.... every neighbor within 100 miles was 1000% behind him.
Like I said...stuff like this.... is the reason Trump won.
