Got to try to do something to stop the cycle of doing great winning most trades to sucking and losing most trades, I stopped trading near account high so trying to fix before getting back, with a $50 every day amount to keep the cost down. ( Near Demo ) Can't see anything in 15 well not enough intraday trades atleast most of the time and SL getting too big
Switch to Forex then, there are 28 different currency pairs to choose from. And believe me, you will get REALLY busy on the 15-min time frames! In fact you will start seeing hammers, shooting stars, 3 white soldiers, head and shoulders, ascending triangles, breakouts of trendlines, double bottoms, you name it, EVERYWHERE!
Used to do Forex, compared to Index's NQ and DAX far too slow and spread charge to average move isn't great either, 5 years ago all Forex. Never going to trade of Candle stick patterns, got my trend/range method, converted well to M5 spotted it messing around, trying to more hands off, as watching price action live for 6hours drives me kinda CRAZY!!!! Easier to trade, while doing other things aswell!
Wouldn't it be nice if we would all be rich by just trading a bar combo on a chart. I mean, seriously, that would be awesome, wouldn't it? Everybody rich! Please trade candlestick charts, I have kids to feed. Thank you.
%% Some books contain that info; not quick/but the best never is ,generally speaking. Monthly topping tail/monthly bottom tail may be useful/not a prediction.....................................................................................................................
%% Exactly. Good thing about the USA everybody is rich compared to 3rd world. The first time I read IBD founder book, I remember ; '' new traders/investors want to much, with 2 little work'' I asked a lotto buyer once; ever won anything?? NO he said, but got close/LOL.
Steve Nison is one of the "authorities" on the subject in the western world - plenty of books by him available on Amazon. Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques: A Contemporary Guide to the Ancient Investment Techniques of the Far East Hardcover – Illustrated, 1 Nov. 2001 is a good start. Thomas Bulkowski has done some interesting work and is well know for providing some statistics on various patterns, including candles. http://thepatternsite.com/
