A regular day is hard enough for Parkland students. Now they face standardized tests.

  3. The thing is I own guns, I don't know anyone who does not among my cousins in the US.

Right now I own a custom M82A1 (special barrel for firing solid copper pretties) and an FS92 because I liked Lethal Weapon too much and a guy gave it to me. I also like the Barrett & Beretta sound. My BB guns.

I just can't stand seeing how so many men become cowards with them. Some are fine but a lot of guys get all messed up putting their courage in a gun.

That's almost how someone carrying a concealed weapon should act -- back off and retreat and only use it as a last resort for self-defense.

  5. Yeah.. that is not really how it works.

Maybe if we gave you a key ring sound maker.. at least then when you are hiding you don't risk other people firing off wildly.

Scalping Futures would teach you a lot about yourself and others. Everyone thinks they are a hero until tested.

It made it to the politics section because they were whining that it was unfair to test them because there was a shooting two months ago.

  8. That is exactly why you should not have a gun. Your garbage about being some intelligence agency assistant fantasist stuff and soldiers know better. :)

Look at the stats of who goes front line and even then, they are trained for it. It is not many. Plenty of soldiers get shot at a bit on their way from boring point a to b, not the same thing.

100 guys in a room have guns, maybe 1 to 4 of them are able to do anything useful. The rest have guns & do nothing with them or accidentally shoot others.

The NRA promotes ownership without competence. They are about gun sales and making noise, little more. Their gun safety courses are a joke, so deficient that a US Ranger master Sargent used to call them "the Egyptian driving test". Can you drive backwards 20 yards? Good, here is your license.

Every mother shot by her little kid this month because the NRA blocked design R&D on preventing such accidents.. but you don't care about any of that.

The NRA is a cult. I am sure if we looked we might find alternative organisations who provide some competent level of education but until the NRA are handled, responsible gun ownership and training will be a rare beast.
