A quick IB stop order question

    I hope this has a quick answer. Once you enter a stop order on IB, if you log off the system (or if your PC or ISP goes out), your stop order is still stored and active at IB, right?

    Someone told me that there are some trading platforms (and he thought IB included) where the stop orders reside on your PC (old version of Cyber?), so that once you log off or get the power knocked out, your stops are toast. I don't believe this is the case now days.
