  1. no more whales "spoofing" on the DOM

    :p

  2. no more knocking stuff down so you can load up
or running up the goods so you can unload your take

    mr whale

    :p

  3. is there any value to looking at bids/offers on the dom anyway? it takes bots a mili second to cancel an order.

  4. open outcry is far more transparent imo and I know im gonna get shit for saying that but I don't care.

Sure the retail customer gets the shaft on the deal but the players that truly matter (funds, commercials, locals) benifit and can truly read the supply/demand of the market, who is playing, etc. Transparency creates the "right price" and you don't get that in electronic markets. Its just a sick computer game with countless players hidden behind a computer. Imo the reason the markets have gotten more volatile and random is due to electronic trading. Its not a hedging mechanism anymore.......its a casino.

  5. ?......increased cancellation fees?
