A president comes back from the grave and tells us how to fix America

    Illum

Regan's feeble end brought about the current republican horror known as neo-con. With his feeble mind, Bush and his cronies took over. Never been the same since. You can not find a true conservative anywhere now. Someone who actually wants small government has nowhere to turn. What good are all those speeches? They are worthless. Now you get to pick from a big fascist murdering glob or a commie tyranny. Great choices. That is the Regan legacy, doesn't matter to me what he talked about, what is left is garbage. I'd take a left Kennedy or right Eisenhower over Regan and his failure any day.

  3. Neo-con cult started as far back as Nixon with Erlichman (Hank Paulson's first boss), Halderman and other assorted convicted felons. It would be incorrect to label Reagan and even Nixon as neocon, although some of their lieutenants were. Reagan pulled us out of a slump, no doubt about it. Carter was a good man , but a weak president and just could not get it together.

  5. Google it. The term was coined in 1973 at the close of Nixon's tenure.
