Yeah ..... good idea from the OP, but you would have to make stock valuations a little more honest. If you buy a share of the company, you are buying into the upside, but you should also be liable for a share of the company debt. When a company goes bankrupt, shareholders lose the investment + pay off debt. That would sober things up real quick.
