How much more childish can it get. OMG. Grow up kids. Grow some skin.just because I said that a proper call should include a stop level causes a major panic. Ridiculous. @vanzandt knows exactly that with a stop level his calls can be easily scrutinized and that he would be stopped out more often than not. He has a pathological addiction to be right. Any proper call should have a stop attached to it. Any analyst any research paper any bank prediction includes stops. Without the call becomes utterly worthless and just wishful thinking. A call should include Asset id Direction Price level (the call should be close to the currently traded price) Stop level (as percentage of account balance, factoring order size) Target price (as percentage of account balance, factoring in order size) Anticipated holding period
That's true, it needs stops and targets at least or some sort of exit strategy. I believe we're near a market top but I don't know if the actual top is here or a few month away - so no call about it. But I believe @vanzandt just wanted to randomly chat about the VIX, not speculate about it seriously.
He ain't got no distractions Can't hear the buzz and bells Don't see no lights a flashin' Plays by sense of smell Always gets a replay Never seen him fall That deaf dumb and blind kid Sure plays a mean pinball
Words are cheap; I would say...a chart/picture is worth a thousand dollars (potentially way more) -- but only a rare select few can trade it successfully in the heat of the battle, I would like to see how many people can trade, or call the top/bottom, of the daily SPY/DOW/SPX charts.
When has anyone ever become rich calling tops and bottoms? I have never heard of anyone, read of anyone, witnessed anyone, myself included
