As for the flag (the winning flag) - taking a knee is disrespectful to certain people. Too bad.

Holding tight to the battle flag of a losing enemy (umm the losing flag) is the current day version of everyone gets a participation trophy. Yeah team - we came in second.

Yes, and I'm sure 70% of nfl fans that are against kneeling are nothing to the nfl.

You know, the ones that pay the player salaries.

We can go in circles all day, but your argument is stupid.

NFL fans that are against the kneeling are NFL fans. Stupid is trying to say these fans won't watch. Oh sure, some won't. Most will.

Anyway IMO if the coming season is played at all it will likely be without any fans.

you're correct in that you get a lot of complaining from fans but they will still watch.

But, the nfl doesn't want not even a half a percent in viewer declines. Anything that is
    not increasing viewership is bad.

If a business goes from a billion in revenue to 950 million, it doesnt seem like much
but the clubs are in full panic mode about declining franchise values and uncertain
    future growth.

I think the NFL made the correct calculation, in the current climate, which way were they likely to lose more fans.

For the record I totally agree that you shouldn't force someone to stand up and salute
the flag as part of their job which is to play football but they should remain in the locker
    room until its over.

No political protests during work hours is not too much to ask from an employer.

I also don't believe students should have to pledge allegiance to the flag every morning
in grade, middle and high school. stupid.

And uniforms do not include political statements like i support blacklivesmatter. its an organization, not a saying like if your pin said "peace and love" which
    is a generic positive statement.

Which btw, bubba wallace was wrong to paint the car with that because its
    political propaganda.

What if someone did a trump 2020 car? you can see how it can turn
    into a shit show

Should students have to leave the classroom during pledge like athletes should have to leave the field during anthem?

BTW I do agree no Black, White or All Lives Matter advertising or Presidents making race start calls. As for Trump 2020 car, it already wrecked.

No I support an outright end to the entire practice of school flag pledge.

I would also be totally fine with doing away with national anthem at sporting
events but I know a lot of people would get there panties in a bunch about that
because it makes them feel good before a game or whatever..

This is what you get when you empower the mob rule and reward people for pointing out moral crises - imagined or otherwise.

100%. The woke bandits are out fabricating narratives again.

Don't you find it far too convenient? A southern inspired sport, moral panic across the nation, and suddenly a noose OF ALL THINGS is found in the garage stall of a driver?

A noose? A NOOSE? OF ALL THINGS? An implement of execution that hasn't even been heard of in mainstream media in many, many years?

Character assassinations are being rewarded now. Welcome to CURRENT_YEAR.
