    Rock,

I'm old, retired and need VIAGARA.

LOL. I think that's more information than I needed to know. :) Funny post!

Rock, my apologies. I think the site you referenced looks too good, but I believe it's possible. I'm going to mine their entry and exit points and see if I can learn something new. I'm young (36) and don't use Viagra yet, but might get my wife on it :)

  3. Obviously you would have to have access to their realtime entries and exits in order to evaluate their calls. Its been my experience that anybody who can produce 20 to 40 percent annually will have people beating down their doors trying to give them money so you have to be a little skeptical about these kinds of numbers.

  4. ddefina,

No apologies needed, my friend...funny post too...

    Nicodemus,

My understanding is that they post their entry and exit points, to members, by 9PM, the night before the trade.

Rock, you started the thread expecting flames.
well, it is true that most here like to do their own trading. I remember not that nice comments too when I write about system trading or automated trading... so people are different and like different things.
However, to be fair, you also wrote you would keep us posted with the results with the sites you were investigating. Unless I missed it - always possible - I don't think you did.. so please give us some more info several months after the threads in question.

Anybody can flame, but someone flaming a trader making money, is just plain stupid. so go ahead Rock.

  6. I just looked at the last trade they have posted and it went up 3 bucks after they shorted it but they're still in it. It did finally go down today but where would your stops have been placed? Lets see where they exit and check the r/r. If they were willing to risk 3 bucks on the trade they must be expecting around 9 points.

  7. I guess my eyes are playing tricks on me. I swear the first time I looked the position was still open. The next time I looked it showed being closed out yesterday for a small loss. Pardon me.

  8. Here are the statistics on of their 2001 trades:

    1.05% Average *Daily* Return
    4.01% Standard Deviation of Returns
    3.815 Risk to reward ratio

Not a bad system return-wise: you'd be filthy rich making 1.05% a day in no time.

The risk to reward ratio is a tad on the high side ... it's not unlikely that a string of losers would knock off 50% of your capital in short order.

They claim currently to be in Flex short from 24.65. It appears that they entered it today (11-20) and already took a 1$ partial. Problem is it hasn't seen even a high of 24.65 since back in October.

From this rather shallow investigation is seems that their accounting is a bit flexible.

  10. tntneo,

I have been doing this from time to time...I will try to find the posts and repost them...

    stock punter,

Remember, you don't have to follow them from entry to exit...PigsMakeGoodRibs...my parameters are generally aimed at a smaller profit...ie: ShortBoy ....I go for a 2 buck profit and he seems to shoot for the 3-5 bucks area.

    Turok,

I can't find the trade on FLEX of which you speak...however I did find a short on FLEX dated 1/31/01...

I am showing their last trade of CHKP..short...on
    11/15/01

    ???????
