  1. It remains to be seen when Quinn will be starting here. Most writers locally say after the bye week.

at least a better option for the future than an aging green...we dont even have a good supporting cast..what where they thinking really???

p.s. pobresito shaq...one of the few classy guys in Bball got taken to the hoop by his own wife....shady dealings and hiding assets from him....this is going to get ugly...

  4. Commentators pointing out how bad the NFC is. One called it AAA Minor League. Best they have - Bears and Saints collapse. And NFC is on a loser TV network too.

    SD
    Pats
    Indy
    Steelers
    Broncos
    Bengals
    Ravens
    Even Jets Maybe

Better than all the NFC teams!

I have to admit tripleAAA ...trent green looked very poised and in total control.. although longterm i would have liked another choice for the immediate future he doesn't look bad. The team as a whole looked weak starting with ronnie brown.....the team to keep a close eye on are the cowboys. Teams to beat NE and INdy...looks like Romo is the real deal...steven jackson should have kept his mouth shut before claiming that he will rush for 2500 yds...he just put a bulls eye on his chest and looka looka what he did yesterday...zilcho...

  8. .

SouthAmerica: The Raiders had a bad start in the current season.

It looks like: it will be a very long season.

  9. I felt kind of bad for the Dolphins yesterday. They played well enough to win, barely. Three plays essentially killed them. The late interception where Jason Taylor got flagged. They had good field position, but the penalty put them back at the 11. Then with three minutes to go in the game and trailing by three, they had the ball on the Redskins 8 yard line. In the ensuing two plays, they were flagged for holding and then for intentional grounding. The latter looked questionable to me. Green wasn't really under pressure. He just threw it away when the play broke down.

I liked the way Green played, for the most part. He had some dropped passes that would have made his stats better. Overall, I wasn't particularly impressed by the Dolphin defense. They didn't put much pressure on Campbell, and in the fourth quarter and OT, the Redskins offensive line seemed to be dictating to them. That end zone interception saved them, but a better receiver would have caught it. Brandon Lloyd was has been a big bust for the 'Skins, and that play will do nothing to get him more plays. The game also reminded me why we weren't that broken up when Fred Smoot left for the Viking two seasons ago. The Dolphin wideouts abused him all day, then he dropped what would have been a game-winning interception.
