Actually even 0.03 is to much. Just a 10 pip SL would be a 3% loss. On average, how far away do you place your stops?
3 pips. range 10pips..... trend 10 pips knowing they do not get hit. generally not more than 10 pips...in aussie dollar this does not get hit by noise i am getting 57% win rate around profit factor 2-3 but i want to remove scaling in or averaging and then see. smart averaging....in a range or weak trend increases probability and win rate but may lead to greater drawdowns and losses....so it is something to work out. stop placement has to take into account market conditions
i can live with that. if i follow my method my win rate will allow that. disasters happen when i do not wait for proper conditions or when i just plain lazy. 12-14 hours of trading is really a long time aud usd does not move much and it does not stop run
all the videos in the screenrec gallery have been deleted by me ,by mistake. did not realise i needed to keep them so that they can be accessed. so please do not try to see the earlier vids in this journal
Brooks was right.... " until there is a major trendline break do not trade counter trend ". it took me 13 years to understand what he means by a major trend line break
