As we all know, a stocks movement is largely dependent on whether that sector/market is in a bull or bearish or consolidation phase. However, during bull phases analysts with heavy buy calls are favored (ie most "right") in bearish phases analysts with bearish views are heroic (ie Meredith Whitney & the banks).. I wonder if we are in a time of consolidation where everything just moves like jello for years basically everyone/public figures out that all the analysts are full of it/interest is lost in the market for years setting up for the next bull run. Thoughts?
