That is fine, you should assume some responsibility if any more victims surface after this. It's called collusion by silence and sites like this who enable these predators should be held accountable as well.
Good answer, and this is what I was thinking....."Once you download the software, all transactions are strictly between the user and their broker partner." The word "scam" doesn't apply here at all. I didn't think it did. You may not think the software will give you returns like some hedge fund you follow; whatever. Don't buy it. I suggest others use their energy towards the people that sell online classes for $5000 and say things like, "I will teach you secrets only the professionals know. The ways of a master hedge fund. The holy grail. How to turn 10k into 1 trillion dollars. Secrets never seen in books. Magic from indicators only I know. Guaranteed rules that, if followed, will make you rich beyond comprehension. Now buy my class.....blah blah blah."
Not a single word of your post negates my claim that your marketing materials are designed to mislead the public as to the capabilities of your software. The FACT is that your promotional materials show 11 pages of trades without a single losing trade, and show this as the SINGLE example of CoolTrade. Is this not a fact? And at no place on your materials do you state that there are still open trades...or that this is just one example of many systems that you have run. Is this not a fact? This is clearly, clearly, misleading to the public, and you know it to be so. And unless I am mistaken, the only reason CoolTrade was ever mentioned on this thread was an initial posting by your CEO. And the only reason why I posted was in response, because I won't let members of this board have the wool pulled over their eyes by misleading performance claims. This is a site for and by traders. Not all of us just fell off the potato truck. CoolTrade may, in fact, have some value to some investors. I don't know. But IMHO your company is doing itself a huge disservice by spending time posting on this board, and on others. If you have satisfied customers, let them speak for themselves. There is no better marketing than word-of-mouth.
if Affinity is a scam, another ET member will post it in here. Don't have enough info to place affinity on the list as of yet. But your comment will be counted.
alright, brian. i surely want to take you up on your generous offer. it appears that you are very confidence of your software, correct? i would be very much interested in seeing you et al using your software to prove your confidence and points put forward here in your rebuttal..... by trading NOT ONLY LIVE feed but also real money on real time and real account. by trading a live account to show david and everyone else on this forum that your confidence and acclamation of your highly valued software is not just sale talk and that your software that you are very proud of, could really be put into action and test--to prove your point and shut up all the critics once and for all. would you be able to rise to that occasion to put your company and software to real test by going live? over the years, i have already heard tons and tons of explanations and excuses as to why a trading trainer, coach, ceo, cfo, proprietors et al would not want to demonstrate his/her highly valued tools in real time with real live account. however, there are a handful of trainers who have already gone on to trade live to prove that their software is really workable and tradeable AND that those trainers really know how to trade profitably and consistently. how about your own valued software and your trading experiences--do you have enough confidence to put everything on line to go live just once, without any excuse or hypothetical verbiage like many many other trading educators? since i do not know you personally or biz wise, so i have no reason to pick on you or your software or company, correct? let us know WHEN YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO TRADE LIVE ACCOUNT to prove to yourself and all your critics, and also to enlighten all the readers on this forum? i surely hope i did not offend you in anyway, K? thx brian for posting and explanation. NOW, it is entirely up to you whatever you choose to do, OK? there is absolutely no pressure whatever from this end. cheers and happy and profitable trading, brian. succinctly, if you are for any reason unable to take your software to the next level by using it to trade on a live account, then there is really no reason for you to post any further which we all would understand that you are exercising your rights, K? It looks like Mike Baghdady's scheme has been exposed. The so called new turtles never got 100k accounts and two have now left. They are now making sales calls for Baghdady, so much for millionaire traders. http://www.trade2win.com/boards/first-steps/144314-mike-baghdady-should-i-take-course-not-46.html
The trading educational arena can become a very slippery slope. If you manage a website, you are soo worried about a brand new client seeing the page for the first time....so you have to be positive 99.99% of the time. they can't see you lose if you don't have an honest track record in plain view. i only glance, not read, a few blogs, and everyday they seem to make thousands. I know this thread is doing good for new traders or traders really "wishing, hoping" to turn things around....you really want to believe in someone and trust they can take you on that profitable path. it's like a psychic who meets an emotionally damaged person. it's easy to take their money. i read a story the clients bring in bills and the psychic keeps all money with 6's on them. haha. and then switches them with paper and burns the paper. the client thinks it's money being burned.
