Affinity Trading Institute, LLC is not a proprietary trading firm nor a CBSX or FINRA member. However, Affinity does provide
proprietary trading education and consults with 3rd party CBSX member firms that offer and provide proprietary trading.

I see nothing in that Barron's article addressing benefits of CoolTrade software.

Are you an employee of the vendor? Your few posts would lead one to believe that.

I'm pleased that you've posted here, because it gives me an opportunity to respond to materials I've seen from your company. And it was those materials that led me to look more closely at what your company is promoting, and how.

As a professional, private trader myself, there are few things that get me more pissed off than seeing misleading promotional materials from trading/investing companies.

I am in receipt of promotional materials distributed by your company at local networking events, and passed to me by a friend who attended a recent event where your company had a booth set up. It is my understanding that your company has been distributing these types of materials at a number of events.

In my opinion, these materials regarding CoolTrade, AKA RoboticTradingSystems, are extremely misleading to the public.

Specifically, on the first page of this package of materials, CoolTrade is headlined as earning 48% in gains since 8/18/011. The next 11 pages list hundreds of trades WITHOUT A SINGLE LOSS (!!) Let me repeat. Without a single loss.

My friend contacted your rep via email and questioned him about this. His response? "The strategy is a swing trade strategy and holds positions overnight or until they become profitable. "

What I suspect is that your software has run numerous systems over the last 6 months, and your company has elected to select a single one to headline in your promotional materials. And what really gets me hot is the fact that this stuff is being distributed to the general public.

Am I to believe that in the past 6 months CoolTrade software has not generated a single losing trade or losing system?

If this software is half as productive as you claim, then why is your company setting up booths and passing out such misleading materials?

  10. Not sure a MACD could ever do that. Maybe something proprietary.

Were the results presented as hypothetical or actual?
