Hi Emg, I didn't see your comment above. You know - I can't explain why there are complaints. But having spent 9 months there- I did see many traders or wanna-be traders that quit- some just wanted a service like Traders-International- to hand-hold you in each trade. That is not part of PureTick's aim; But the main trader did tell you exactly when to get in and exit. But confusion does exist with new-traders, because Alex - did do some advanced trading styles. These were trades that were clearly stated for newbie-traders to stay away from- sometimes because there would be a large stop would be needed for the trade to work out. Sorry for the long comment here. I could go on, but I learned more from this site than any other coach I've hired. (I've hired a few too!- They were great traders, but could not coach= a big difference, indeed). So, I can answer specific questions, so I won't go on here. But I would suggest taking that PureT site off the list- I think it's a great coaching site. I had to leave the site because of work commitments. Would I go back, maybe, but I would like to work on my trading plan some more. Thanks EMG, for reading this and posting that list. Cheers,G88
Ladies and Gentlemen: We have a former PureTick member who feels that puretick is not a scam and should be taken off the list. If nobody seeks to challenge Greg88, PureTick will be off the list tomorrow afternoon after the market closes. U have 1 day. Bring them up!!!!
What is G88's interest in purecrap anyways? Is he shareholder or what? Their website alone says enough. Just another sales organization lol!!
Do not know if this guy is legit : Larry Levin, floor trader website: tradingadvantage.com and secretsoftraders.com He does post his audited trade records as proof of success. Has a live trading room, book and training, etc.
Frits, No - not a member or shareholder. I can see why some may think that, but if this website is for negative comments, than why not a few positive ones. Why not spend $29. to try it out ? If someone is a serious trader- that fee for 10days- is just a 10days of coffee's. But I'm not going to continue responding to baseless negativism; I had a friend who dropped out of Puretick, because he didn't have the time to become a serious trader- he just wanted someone who could hand-hold while trading. Like I've posted above: Traders' International will hand-hold, nice people there, but they just don't have the skill set to trade all types of markets. And EMG, whatever you want to do with the list is fine with me- I only chimed in on this discussion to put some 'meat' into the topic. Thanks for the opportunity. Good trading, G88
In my mind there are some simple criteria for deciding if a website should be on the list. Are their claims dishonest? Do they offer poor value? If their claims are honest, the promotional environment should not be an issue. Those of us who buy cars and deodorant may not enjoy their promotional methods but we do buy the product if it is a good value. Repackaging free stuff and selling it for big bucks is not entirely dishonest, but it is a poor value. These also should be pointed out. "Does not work" is a tough call. I believe that a trading system is primarily made up of the strategy and the trader. A good strategy traded poorly will still lose money. The trick is to evaluate a strategy for its ability to be traded by the level of trader it is aimed at. This, I have always had trouble evaluating. Full disclosure... I intend to someday teach what I do. I expect to be evaluated by the same methods I suggest here.
Thanks Howard, Appreciate your mature insightful comment. Although I thought of teaching / coaching one day; I am in no rush to do that- I enjoy successful trading too much right now, but may in the future. There is a track record of the site I have encouraged traders to visit. The best part of that site is the ability for new traders to learn simple , easy to apply trading strategies. But it still requires steady work, and assessment of each day's trades. There is no holy-grail. Those looking for one- will always be fodder for the 'magic-system' salespeople. Great Trading, G88
I agree with you Greg, why not spend $29 to see for yourself. The problem is however that the fun then realy starts. They make the sandbar very low to get you in. And after that short period they start the real selling. "to become a better trader I advice you to buy our course on mental issues. It's on sale now for only $499,-" "No it's not our system that is failing, you need to improve your skills to become a professional trader! Why not enter into our personal coaching program? It usually costs $4995,- but as I realy want you to become that better trader and I realy award you the succes I'll arrange you a deal for only $4500,- How does that sound èh"!? And before you know it you'll be flat broke begging you're old boss to be able to get a job as a cleaner where you used to be assistant manager ! Shaka , Frits
