hank haney and david leadbetter come to mind in the pga, they are sought out by the pro's yet have never won a tournament,a lot of these tutors can give you an accelerated education on the markets, without teaching you how to trade, teaching you how to not trade, what not to do(fixing your golf swing) ,can save you thousands ,millions, once you've learned that, the burden of becoming profitable is on you...not every trader can teach, very few i imagine, they need to provide a course for the newbs on what to look for and what to avoid in vendors, that would be useful, this thread like many on ET has turned into a bash fest, not directed at anyone post
Then ignore this thread and move on. Unless you are a vendor and have yet to reveal yourself. Another thing, get a life

So what is the criteria to appear on the list? Since you said "guilty until proven innocent", I assume just to exist one qualifies for the list. You are probably too dumb to notice, but you are providing an excellent free advertisement for these sites. Since according to ET policy, mentioning them would be spamming, you have found an extremely efficient way to go around moderation and provide them with free publicity (I never even heard most of them) even if it is negative one. One could say there is no such a thing as bad PR, and I am sure lots of ET posters checking out these sites, thanks to you. And as a sidenote, the nature of trading mentoring is a tricky one. A mentor could teach a completely valid and profitable method and 80% of the students still wouldn't be able to use it, due the psychological reasons. One great example would be when we made YOUR ineffective although profitable method 5-10 times more profitable in the ES thread, and you still stuck to the old method. Obviously somebody doesn't like to make profits....
"One could say there is no such a thing as bad PR" Absolutely correct. It would be impossible to find a single business entity, trading or otherwise, that doesn't have detractors.
Did I miss it? Haven't seen if**ktraders on this list. Maybe everyone is afraid of a slap suit from Ollie.
