A list of all scam unregulated 3rd party educational vendors

Discussion in 'Educational Resources' started by emg, Dec 15, 2010.

  1. Complete fabrication. The small group of traders at that event back in 2006 (five years ago) are all part of the lifetime group now. Obviously, I know them all personally.

When someone pointed out that post in the public message board above which by the way is plastered with google ads from 100s of vendors (promoted continually in this thread) to me, I replied that if the poster would contact me I'd make everything right with them immediately.

That post was up briefly, long enough for a number of people to read & reply until Bruce (aka pitbulltrader alias here in ET) took it down and blocked my access to the site.

That offer still stands. If such a phantom clients exists, he is welcome to contact me today and will immediately get silver-plate service for life.

"Francois Clement" is a mentally defective person who has sent me no fewer than 200 emails in the past couple of years. He/she has never been thru my program, knows nothing about me or what I do on a first-hand basis. Just some fixated cybernet stalker who does not discriminate, but wastes precious time in life stalking others who blog and have websites as well.

The internet is full of falsehoods and bullsh*t from both vendors AND message board frauds alike. You figure out which ones know what they're talking about, and which ones are "selling" their own self-therapy and misery relief thru fraudulent libel.

  2. Interesting and good points. To this I respond: if the mentor can't trade, then mr.mentor produce successful students..Like bolliteri .. Where are they? Upon production of proven successful students, I agree with you. Take v@n Th@rp for example-- he claims that he can't trade yet he teaches. Does he have successful students based onhis mentoring? I have no idea.

  3. I believe ap on this one. I would like to know where all the accolades of satisfied clients are. Additionally, after purusing your blog I think I counted a couple of abandoned attemps to turn a small sum into millions over time. I have seen you knock the vendor biz for making outlandish claims that reel in the noobs, if you do want to be taken legit and regarded as a professional, no God talk, no pictures of your women, and no turning a couple thousand into millions.

  4. The good news is, I'm taken as "legit" by 1,000+ daily unique visitors and rising. If you have exception with "God talk", might want to share this same concern with Don Miller, too. He's one of the biggest vendors out there measured in gross dollar sales and openly shares his personal beliefs. Why you or anyone finds that offensive is beyond me, but apparently we are all different.

Pictures of my women? You sound very much like Bruce M... he used to drivel over those same two red herrings all the time, except for spelling God with a lower-case g.

Lastly, unless I'm mistaken, the only person in this thread who trades real money in front of an audience every day AND has posted numerous times to the P&L threads here historically is me. So until everyone tuning in here sees someone else from this thread (smilingsynic excluded) post their trade calls to the P&L thread, reasonable onlookers will assume they are merely paper frauds and dismiss it at that.

emg supposedly trades $100,000 per single ES contract and scales into multiple contracts at a time in his quest for +1pt ($50) profit targets. eudamon is supposedly long the S&P for a couple of weeks or higher levels. Sounds good... where are the blotters? Took time to post the calls, take ten seconds more to post the proof. How simple is that?

Tomorrow I'll be doing what I do: trading real money in real accounts in full view of real people in real time. And the next day, and the next day, and the day after that.

Best news of all? We have now discovered the CL in earnest

  6. I do not think any of his clients are making money. I believe austinp churn and burn all of his client's funds accounts.

  7. The good news is, everyone is free to believe whatever they want. I happen to trust the fact that common sense and good judgement are attributes most people still possess. I have given away more free nuts & bolts, tech-analysis information thru webiners and videos than anyone else still active in this entire site.

Some of the most respected posters in ET actively use price action techniques I've given away for free. Literally hundreds of people here have been given tactics based on objective price action that work.

I'm always willing to walk my talk. Sadly, I cannot find anyone else who has courage of their own conviction to do the same. So I'll be content to let the public masses form their own opinions, use their common sense and judgement to figure out who is what.

Meanwhile, I'll be busy trading my own funds in real time in front of real people tomorrow, the next day, the day after that, and onward as usual

  8. The same can be said for Larry Williams. I've attended two of his seminars. I personally like him and he has some interesting things to say but I I know many of his past seminar attendees and none of them use what he teaches as a blueprint for their own personal trading. Most of the ones I stay in contact with are net positive traders each year. Larry is another one though that doesn't address the "bad habits" his attendees bring to the table.

  9. No question about it. I like Larryand have learned a bit or two from his books and just chatting over the year, but have never attended a seminar or class. I think he is a bright guy, but have no clue as to the success of his students. Other than. Michelle W (daughter) won some trading contest following his lead.

Like him or hate him, Victor Niederhoffer must go down in history as the top trading educator/mentor of all time-----if you judge by the verifiable results of those coming from learning from him. Multiple hyper successful traders and hedgees...

From personal experience--- my association/friendship with him paid off in huge ways in both business and the market. I know for a fact the same can be said for many others.

  10. This thread is a waste of time, so this will be it, for me.

No one has proven that Austin is breaking any NFA regulations.

He probably has some satisfied clients and, from what some have said here, some unsatisfied clients. Just like any other business.

Do all businesses that have unsatisfied customers deserve to be called "scams"? I don't think so.

He may be selling something drastically overpriced, but others may find it drastically underpriced, based on how much they have made.

I haven't bought anything from him, so I wouldn't know either way.

But any trader who expects to make a living in this business will have to do his or her own thinking. Therefore, time is better spent working on developing one's own skills (thinking, screen time)than posting nonsense on some entertaining[the real "E" in "ET"], but largely useless, message board.

Now someone please take this thread out behind the barn and put it out of its misery. :)
