A life without brokers

  1. I don't know if I have bad luck or if this is typical, but the only time I ever made a large move, 50 calls on the Q's, my broker's (IB) server went down minutes later and as the trade went against me. I couldn't initiate offsetting positions or close the open position until I was already down $3000. Then yesterday I decide to go long BOA to average down and get me out of this losing position I have on it and my order with MB trading won't execute because their server was down and the stock flies past my entry point and is up 30%.

    Ahhhhh.

  2. Bad things happen in 3s. So if it happens to you again you'll have your answer - you have bad luck.
