A Life Devoted to God

Discussion in 'Politics' started by ETcallhome, Jan 1, 2016.

  1. Can someone explain their interpretation of genesis 6 talking of Nephilim "the fallen" "sons of god" or "giants" that came to earth and had children with the women here? What's that all about?

I've wondered if we are children of "aliens" or if god is an alien or alien race? Or is god ABOVE aliens in a universal sense? Sumerian tablets, which I believe is what genesis is from, talks of these annunaki.

It seems logical our life here on earth could have been started from a far away galaxy that had life.

Maybe I just had too much star wars this past week.

  2. Probably a secret passage between the far away galaxy and our planet, for an existing galactic transport network system, could be found once the current myths of dark energy/matter would be resolved in future!

When meeting face to face, they will say to us, "Welcome home!"

  3. I was just thinking today about how weird that reality is... It's about fallen angels. Their offspring continued to a small extent after the flood and their genetic material is still in the gene pool. People don't want that known actually, not my problem though. The stunningly awesome thing about God is that He/She can actually deal with all this crazy stuff and make it come out ok eventually..

let me know when some of peter parker's prophesies start coming true.

    http://www.reasons.org/articles/art...ecy-evidence-for-the-reliability-of-the-bible

    (1) Some time before 500 BC, the prophet Daniel proclaimed that Israel's long-awaited Messiah would begin his public ministry 483 years after the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (Daniel 9:25-26). He further predicted that the Messiah would be "cut off," killed, and that this event would take place prior to a second destruction of Jerusalem. Abundant documentation shows that these prophecies were perfectly fulfilled in the life (and crucifixion) of Jesus Christ. The decree regarding the restoration of Jerusalem was issued by Persia's King Artaxerxes to the Hebrew priest Ezra in 458 BC, 483 years later the ministry of Jesus Christ began in Galilee. (Remember that due to calendar changes, the date for the start of Christ's ministry is set by most historians at about AD 26. Also note that from 1 BC to AD 1 is just one year.) Jesus' crucifixion occurred only a few years later, and about four decades later, in AD 70 came the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus.

    (2) In approximately 700 BC, the prophet Micah named the tiny village of Bethlehem as the birthplace of Israel's Messiah (Micah 5:2). The fulfillment of this prophecy in the birth of Christ is one of the most widely known and widely celebrated facts in history.

    (3) In the fifth century BC, a prophet named Zechariah declared that the Messiah would be betrayed for the price of a slave—thirty pieces of silver, according to Jewish law-and also that this money would be used to buy a burial ground for Jerusalem's poor foreigners (Zechariah 11:12-13). Bible writers and secular historians both record thirty pieces of silver as the sum paid to Judas Iscariot for betraying Jesus, and they indicate that the money went to purchase a "potter's field," used—just as predicted—for the burial of poor aliens (Matthew 27:3-10).

    Oregon militia taking a stand
    http://www.smh.com.au/world/oregon-militia-taking-a-stand-20160108-gm1v8u.html

Earlier, Finicum, a Mormon with 11 children and nearly twice as many grandchildren, a strong, gentle voice and a firm handshake, said he would die before being arrested.

    ... ... ...

Republican politicians and conservative media formed a cheer squad for the Bundy stand, but later distanced themselves when he told a public meeting that "the Negro" was better off under slavery.
    ... ... ...

The militiamen drove through the snow the 30-odd miles down gun barrel roads to the headquarters of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and occupied the buildings, which were empty of staff over the weekend. God, Ammon explained in a YouTube video posted the day before, had ordered him to take action.

"The Lord was not pleased with what was happening to the Hammonds," Bundy, also a Mormon, said in the video. "If we allowed the Hammonds to continue to be punished, there would be accountability."

    ... ... ...

Nearby I came across Pete Santilli, host of a popular right wing online radio show.

Like all the others I had met at the site he was friendly and welcoming, though he is not always that way.

He once attracted Secret Service attention after he said of Hillary Clinton on his program, "I want to shoot her right in the vagina and I don't want her to die right away.

"I want her to feel the pain and I want to look her in the eyes and I want to say, on behalf of all Americans that you've killed."

I asked him if everybody who felt their rights had been infringed upon had the right to take up arms against the government.

No, he said, just those that were true to the constitution. He had a copy handy in his top pocket.

Isn't it for the courts to interpret the constitution?

No, he said. The government has weaponised the courts against the people.

Now that the people of Burns had asked them to go, should they not leave?

No, he said, the people of Burns had been manipulated by the government.

As we finish talking a drone fizzes slowly overhead.

All of His prophesies, all come true, all the time, for He hath spidey sense. Oh ye of little understanding.

Bible prophesies are not prophesies because the Bible claims them to be any more than Peter Parker's or Marvel's are. They are story books.

Let me know when any of your "prophets" can do this...
