On reparations. Whenever there was a war, there were reparations paid to the PERSON THAT WAS WRONGED not their descendents. Japanese, Germans etc. After the Civil War the freed slaves were given 2 acres and a mule. That was in the days before income tax and our government did not have huge sums of money to just piss away. Most of our legislators are lawyers and they passed laws to make themselves rich with the proceeds from lawsuits. Now you can sue for any frivolous thing and make a million bucks. Sure beats actually WORKING for the money. Blame everyone else except yourselves for your poor lot in life. I take resposibility for mine. I took my lemons and made lemonaide!

And do not forget: majority of the world called civilised at that time, including majority of americans, had already comdemned slavery.
