A hypothetical ... if the southern border is thrown open ...

  1. The left has decided that illegals are above all laws, but they don't vote, because you know, that would be illegal. They can cross the border illegally, live here illegally, commit violent crimes and be protected in sanctuary cities, mayors, governors and state representatives have ordered police departments to stand down on arresting and detaining illegals, but voting, no they can't do that. Anything else, no problem. Illegals are the most protected class, above the law group of people in this country, so much so that we don't even call them illegal aliens, but voting is a no-no.

Nope, not above the law, not below it either. Meaning you don't get to lock them up indefinitely for profit in subhuman conditions without a day in court.

Republicans on the other hand, are perfectly OK with POTUS and his cabinet being above the law (for latest, look at the pass Trump got on obstruction, & campaign finance violations, Trump Jr. for being "ignorant of the law", and Barr & Ross on contempt charges)

Common sense would tell any correct-minded individual that there is massive voter fraud in the country. Fortunately Trump was able to overcome this in 2016.

  4. People are locked up every single day in this country without a day in court. They wait weeks, sometimes months and months for court dates. They are locked up in conditions much worse than border detention faculties. They are separated from their families and certainly don't receive the top shelf legal representation that illegals do. Illegals are the special class who have been deemed above the law.

That doesn't make it right, and it's why people have been pushing to reform the bail bond system. The 6th amendment guarantees a speedy trial, but these vultures lobbying to keep the system in place want none of that. Guess which side of the political spectrum refuses to give inner city prisoners that right to a speedy trial?

And at least prisoners get a shower, two meals, lights out, and some form of medical attention.

You're also comparing felonious activity to civil offenses. We don't do this to minor offenders either.

What's not right is illegals being allowed in the country at all. They are coming here and they are the ones responsible for their circumstance. GET RIGHT.

  8. A. Illegals are here, everybody knows this is factually true agrees and can see that. Just have to come on a tourist visa and overstay like most do and you are here.
    B. Illegals do work and get paid under the table, lots of companies hire illegals, everyone knows that.
    C. There is no citizenship requirement for driving, anyone can get a license in most DMVs. All you need is an address and to take the test.

    D. Yet somehow because the first three can be factually proven, somehow magically we can assume illegals are voting in massive numbers with no evidence, proof or investigation. Just bullshit flawed study cited and repeated diarrhea pouring out of Trump's mouth who claimed election fraud was highly possible up until the election and then shut up about it when he won.

Poeple keep sayuing there was WIDESPREAD voter fraud, buy Trump magically thwarted it by doing what exactly? Meanwhile the biggest case of voter fraud proven and charged was by GOP in North Carolina.

  9. The problem is the GOP made the Southern Wall the sole focus of the immigration issue and put all their efforts there.

Most people here illegally are visa overstays. I have said for the longest time that rather than 25 billion on a wall, take a small piece of that money and invest in a better system to register and record those who enter on visas in a national registry and automatically flag anyone who does not leave by the required time. In every country I have visited, you go through immigration when you LEAVE the country as well as exit. That is how they track people.

We don't do that here. With no tracking of leaving we never know who stays and who goes under their tourist or work visa. It would take several years to refit every international airport with a separate lane to process people flying back overseas to record a visa time frame is closed with the person leaving but it woudl clean up a large loophole in our immigration policy and provide some jobs as well.

Neither party is interested, don't just blame Democrats. Funny how GOP got a free pass for 2 years with 100% control of the government but did nothing and now it is Dems who don't care about immigration.

You can't put a face on sensible solutions that work. The base needs to be fed images of immigrants' faces' anguish so they can feel empowered. A video of a guy being denied at a port of entry is boring and too Obama-like
