A historical gem illustrating how "fair&balanced" fox really is

  1. And Fox News kicks all the liberal networks asses. They can't handle it. This is one of the reasons they want to enact a Fairness Doctrine, because they can't get anyone with a brain to listens to liberal talk shows. lol The conservatives blow their shows away, and now they cry foul. lol
I'd rather listen to a Bin Laden speech than a liberal talk show. Apparently, the majority of America has similiar feelings, since the liberals continue to have the lowest ratings for news/political talk shows. :p

  2. Mercor

    Mercor

There are many ways to use these numbers to make a point. Hume did it and Frankenahole did it. I find fault in both conclusions.

Probelm is that Frankenahole is in a room full of students. To me that is the worst crime.

One could arguee that the US troops should be considered part of the population of Iraq and taht would total 30 million ,close to california.

It was the left who started this whole business of counting the dead. And using that number to determine how successful a war is going. Brit Hume's point is that if you measure only deaths, there is a much worst problem in most US cities.

Using per capita deaths is unfair because death is final so the aggregate number is more important especially to the person who dies.

  5. "Do you think there's no left wing propoganda"?

As if she didn't hear anything he said and she just goes for the cheap debating tactic hypothetical. Typical mutant.

  6. ALL media is biased. It's usually not to the extremes of Fox News and MSNBC, but still, the bias is there. If you really are oblivious to the slant, you need to take your brain off auto-pilot and see the propaganda for what it is.

Fox News is fair and balanced? :D :D How simple-minded do you have to be to buy that nonsense? Fox News is unparalleled in its dedication to feeding off their audience's fear and insecurities to further the far right wing agenda.

Here's another example of spoon feeding an audience blatantly bogus information in the form of statistics. They do it all the time because they're certain their audience will swallow it down without hesitation...Can you imagine the average Fox News viewer (or any viewer of mass media for that matter) questioning their favorite program's content? Hell no. They'll just watch it, absorb the message, get pissed off and spread the gospel—just as planned.
