I like this one Lucrum and given the talk of food and agriculture -

It is ironic that probably a lot of the folks on such a food subsidy program work at the fast food chain outlets and lets not forget the farm subsidies you pay to ensure there is plenty of cheap corn to feed these outlets, the SUVs and high fructuse corn syrup to feed the Health Industry for years to come.

But hey - if you are poor you are a parasite - if you a corporation you have learnt to take care of yourself so you can call those handouts good business.

Daughter of Jeremiah Wright Convicted in Fraud Scheme

CHICAGO — The daughter of President Barack Obama's former pastor was convicted on Friday of laundering thousands of dollars from a state grant for a Chicago-area job-training program, federal prosecutors said.

A federal jury took less than two hours to find Jeri Wright, 48, the daughter of Jeremiah Wright, guilty on all counts for her part in a fraud scheme led by a former suburban police chief and the chief's husband, according to the U.S. Attorney's office for the Central District of Illinois in Springfield.

The $1.25 million state grant was for a not-for-profit work and education program called We Are Our Brother's Keeper, owned by Regina Evans, former police chief of Country Club Hills, and her husband, Ronald Evans Jr.

Wright, a close friend of the couple, took as much as $11,000 from checks worth more than $30,000 that were supposed to be for work related to the grant, prosecutors said. About $20,000 was deposited back into accounts controlled by Regina and Ronald Evans...

  9. DB, a question or two, even though I know you won't answer them.

Obviously, you feel those on public assistance should be allowed to have as many illegitimate children as they care to, and we taxpayers will be forced to support them. You also apparenlty feel that these same welfare recipients should be able to take all the illegal drugs they want without losing their benefits. Otherwise, they would be stigmatized, and we certainly wouldn't want someone living off the efforts of others to feel the least bit stigmatized.

So my first question is, are there any restrictions at all you would be comfortable imposing on welfare recipients? I am guessing citizenship or even legal status certainly isn't one. You feel it is appropriate to mock those who object to welfare recipients sitting around doing drugs all day and having children they can't support. So I want to know, is there any requirement you would impose on them, other than voting democrat?

Second, do you really think it is helping people to encourage generational welfare dependency? To implicitly endorse poor choices that will confine not only them but their children to a life of poverty?

Finally, do you think radical islam poses a threat to this country? And if it does, wouldn't it make sense at least to limit immigration by those infected with it or from countries where it is dominant?

You post endless pastes mocking or attacking people who have genuine concerns about these issues, but you never address the actual issue. So here's your big chance.
