That's true, all the stimulus the GOP has produced since Reagan anyway has all been supply side which is one of the things that has accelerated wealth disparity. Wealth disparity is a natural consequence of return on capital being greater than economic growth, but regardless, we should not be adopting policies that accelerate this natural process, if we can help it, because it is bad for the long term stability of our democracy. If anything we should want to slow this natural process down a bit by leaving at least some disposable income with the bottom 50%. If we did that, there is a finite chance some of that disposable income would find its way into investment.
We should remove the government benefits and those people will work harder. Anyone can earn $20+ dollars/hour plus benefits. Its not that hard. Learn to drive a forklift and you will make that much. Learn to drive a tow truck or a Class B. Learn to run a CNC machine and you will start at $25.
Great idea. Let’s starve children and throw them in the street because their parents haven’t gotten a forklift license. Come on, man. You got to think this stuff through at least two levels. We have to make means testing less penalizing. I’m not sure if there isn’t a first world country that doesn’t subsidize lower income families - some countries even subsidize middle income families. We can’t Institute 3rd world policies unless your goal is to turn America into a third world country.
Those parents should just get abortions in the first place. You're the one railing on about social benefits. are you saying the only people who should get social benefits are those who chose not to work?
another flawed assumption by piezoe... you have been full of them the last few years... I don't get ticked by intelligent posts.... or even opinion... I get ticked by people who make non responsive or deceptive posts.
