    Labor quality does, though.

Ah HAH! You have brought up an interesting point!

Do higher-quality laborers produce higher-quality products?

Welp, I would point you to none other than the Ford Motor Company. Their slogan is "Quality is job #1".

Well, can they please explain then why practically every model of vehicle they produce has a recall in effect at some point during it's life? How come many Japanese vehicles never ever get a recall notice issued?

It all comes down to work ethics.

A slogan is a slogan. Same UAW workforce as GM.

Dude, it's BULLSHIT. Quality is NOT job #1 at Ford, as evidenced by all their fuckups! Job #1 is to be in a union, be a lazy-ass POS worker protected by a union, and give two shits about their job!

It will never come to that as the trade is mutually not just beneficial but critical. Chinese economy is even more fragile than the US right now. Social unrest in both countries but China is on the cusp of a revolution, that's why there's so many forceful moves by CCP.

Yeah I don't see it quite so rosy. Thousands of random civilians have been killed by drones in Pakistan. People not directly involved in any war. Perhaps if you'd say "American citizens" then it would hold true.
