I think there should be a law that if you want to post here, you must learn the basics of punctuation, spelling and grammar. At the very least, you should capitalize the name of the nationality you seem to so dearly cherish.
A good rule of thumb for how much water you should consume a day is divide your weight in half and that's how many ounces you should be drinking. If you exercise you should add another 8 oz of water for every 20 min as well.
Didn't we already refute this stupid myth? First, it is all liquid included (soup, tea, beer), not just pure water, second, do you really think a 200 lbs guy needs 12 glasses of water???
1. Do a squat every time you pick something up. Instead of bending over in the usual way, which stresses the lower back, bend your knees and squat. This forces you to use your leg muscles and will build strength. 2. Every time you stop at a traffic light (or the bus does), tighten your thighs and butt muscles and release as many times as you can. (Don't worry, no one will see it!) This will firm leg and buttock muscles, improve blood flow -- and keep you mildly amused! 3. Whenever you're standing on a line, lift one foot a half-inch off the ground. The extra stress on your opposite foot, ankle, calf and thigh, plus your buttocks, will help firm and tone muscles. Switch feet every few minutes.
Buy whole foods -- whether canned, frozen, or fresh from the farm -- and use them in place of processed foods whenever possible. Reject foods and drinks made with corn syrup, a calorie-dense, nutritionally empty sweetener that many believe is worse for the body than sugar, says Katz. Start each dinner with a mixed green salad. Not only will it help reduce your appetite for more caloric foods, but it also will automatically add veggies to your meal.
hello everybody iam new member to this. i love trading like anything can any body tell me which is the best tading firms in chicago. i have made thousands of dollars.
Sorry I never read the whole thread, of course you would have to come to ET for people to actually claim this was a 'myth'. We are almost entirely made up of water, not replenishing yourself with h2o can have a huge affect on our body both physically and mentally. Any liquids are good BUT if you are consuming liquids like beer, coffee, soda etc, your body will end up having to work harder to process those liquids in the end dehydrating you. That's why for every drink other than water you should follow up with an equal amount of room temp water. Same thing when drinking ice cold water, your body can't use that water until it warms it up to proper temp, again making your internals work to use it. Water carries nutrients, helps metabolism, cools our body, keeps our blood diluted, flushes out toxins. A person who is dehydrated will have low blood pressure and high pulse rate because your blood level is down and also thicker so the heart will have to work harder and faster to circulate. Starving the brain of water will lead to confusion, effecting your decision making. Do I think a 200 lbs guy needs 12 glasses of water? Well its not like its going to kill you if you don't reach that limit everyday but for your over all health and longevity for sure its important. The bigger you are the more water you need. The skin is the last vital organ that will receive whatever water you have left over, so if you have bad skin its a good sign you need to drink more. Have you ever seen the complexion of someone who drinks a lot of water beside someone who doesn't? It's like night and day. Ya when you start to drink more water of course you will have to use the can more often, but if you consistently keep it up your body will adapt and going to bathroom will become less frequent.

health tip ... for stateside folk and others anywhere in the world ... all welcome, muslims and jews too next time you go to a Thai restaurant in your town or city, talk to the manager and ask if she/he can make these dishes for you ... ? Tom Yam Kung (pronunciation ... Tom yahm koong) (prawn soup) Khao soy gai (----------------- ... Kha-o soy gah-e) (chicken with special noodles and veggies in magic broth) Insist on authenticity - the latter is a northern specialty. Both have medicinal properties, but the former is sheer magic for stomach and gastro disorders - so soothing in fact that foreigners swear by it. It never fails to send me to paradise 2, esp. considering I already live in Paradise 1. If you like it, go on down to the local Thai market and buy the ingredients and have wifey make it for you a few times/week. regards
