Only been to pattaya once, it was great fun the first day seeing all those hot chicks dancing around in the bars, however as the week went on i realized how fucked up the city really is, it's sickening. You see all those fat 50+ yearold white guys with basically kids (cant be more than 15 ) walking around and getting all intimate right in public, and noone seemed to care, not the locals nor the tourist cops. Then you got those ladyboys (can you imagine cutting off your dick and inject yourself with hormones to make a living) doing all sorts of weird shit just to please some tourists for a few bucks. One brit told me they dont live that long, the way he said as if talking about a dog... i thought tokyo's night life was pretty wild, but this is just fucked. Never seen such decadence and sickness in 1 city, couldnt wait to get the hell out. If you guys want to bang some hookers legally, i suggest you goto singapore instead, it's how legalized prostitution should operate. Avoid pattaya, it's like a city where all the human trash in the world got dumped, what a pit.
I can agree with some of the above mentioned. Thailand is a wonderful place to live ( I live there myself, in Chiangmai in the North) but Pattaya would be my last choice. To spend a weekend there can be fun sometimes but everywhere else in Thailand you have nicer people, more beautiful scenery, better beaches, cleaner seawater, cheaper accomodation etc.
Id love to go to Thailand...to eat amazing food and train muay thai, the obese elderly can keep the hookers all to themselves.
Can the obese young and the slim and fit elderly go there as well in your opinion? And what if an obese elderly just goes there for the sea and the food or a fit and young guy goes there to have fun with girls?
short answer...I dont give a shit. Anyone who wants can enjoy all the hooker AIDS, donkey shows, and ladyboys they can handle, just dont try to philosohically justify your ridiculous vice on a public message board.
I'd like to see less child-abuse and slavery apologists on public message boards. The Thai people are "fond" of their children, is that what you stated? Yeah, it sure sounds like it. I am sure they are incredibly proud of their daughters entering the business from age 12 on up.
