A definition (formula)

Where can I get a definition (a formula) what certain technical indicator counts - how is calculated?

Achelis, Technical Analysis form A to Z. You will have to change the defaults for making money aspect.

 

I have found this site to be very useful:

then select the category based on the indicator name's alphabetical listing.

 

Unfortunately, the Achelis book comes up short when it comes to construction. The site which rwk provided is much more complete.

Look up construction of, say, the DMI or MACD in the Achelis book. Then check the site rwk recommended.
