I am purely objective, stating facts and the reality of the situation... While you have yet to come up with an argument. You are telling me i am projecting my FEELINGS. The irony
You are giving your opinion, same as me. Nothing more. No irony, no facts, and only your (imo) slanted reality. Which BTW has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
'cause I don't want to spam this thread and I appreciate privacy, especially that this conversation is kinda about my personal life.
Just one of a lot of traders here to share ideas if that works. My stuff's simple and easy to find here along with tons of other stuff. Most people want something more involved and odds are that you will too. Why not look around at different parts of ET and see if somebody is doing what you want to do. Then post right there. Lots of traders are happy to detail how they do what they do. My message is boring and starts with something you prolly don't want to hear about having an income rolling in steady and carve out a section of time in your schedule to learn and to trade. Other traders might say something like you could start with 10K and do just fine, and they might be exactly right. Here's a thread to get the ball rolling ... - Trading Capital. https://elitetrader.com/et/threads/advice-on-how-i-should-raise-trading-capital.369707/
I used to live in Dubai. Curious how the sponsorship/ visa works for a non local self employed trader. GAT
A lot of ET participants ask this question. Like if it was. It tells a lot about the person asking it. It's not important how much one is making today, or yesterday. Trading (not investing!) is not about how much you do in one day. It's how much you do in months/quarters. Anyone can have bad and losing days, even month. Yeah, I'm happy if I have a profitable day. But it's only a small part of being profitable. Days become months, months become years. You're as good as your last quarter they used to say on trading floors. You can lose battles, but the goal is to win the war. Man, I'm becoming emotional...
I used to have a company visa a couple of months ago when I was still working.. Right now I'm on visit visa and thinking if I should just get a freelance or just get another job with time flexibility like a realtor.
