Is the book (s) going to tell me anything you haven't? Just because something is written in a book doesn't make it true.
I can tell you what the earnings and revenue of the above companies. I can tell you how they make their money. Gold coins, silver bars, and rare art can all be held in my hand. They exist. Bitcoin is virtual and doesn't really exist. What does a bitcoin do and how does it make you money?
Bitcoin is not a fraud. It's called a market, buy and sell, and Bitcoin has over $15 Billion per day of volume Come on deaddog, Are you really going to pretend you don't understand something as simple a trading market? What you're describing can be applied to most investments, including any non-dividend paying stocks, like TSLA, AMZN, FB, ZM, and gold coins and silver bars, and art pieces, etc
So you can touch TSLA or AMZN or FB shares? and what exactly does owning them do for you other than you hoping to sell them for higher?
I have not told you anything even as close to a whole book. You want to learn the value of Bitcoin but why are you so afraid to read a book that will tell you?
So you like to hold stuff in your hand? And that makes them valuable? what about if you pick up some dog shit and hold them in your hand, are they valuable? Pick up as much shit as you can find and hold them in your hands, you'll be very rich in no time FB and Google are virtual websites, they are worth trillions of $
I wouldn't confuse securities that can be self-directed or unsolicited - an entirely different set of laws and governance than pure commerce. If the SEC had allowed bitcoin or bitcoin ETFs to be registered it could have limited liability. It will be interesting to see how the litigation plays out.
Here is the difference. If I owned any of those companies, 100% of the shares, and didn't want to sell any shares, I would still have a source of income. I could sell a car or a product or advertising or a service and people would pay me. If I owned all the bitcoin ever mined, I have no income. On he one hand I own part of a company that produces something and on the other I have a virtual digital token that produces nothing.
I just don't want to waste money to buy a book that tells me what I already know. I've listened to a few interviews with the author and haven't learned anything new. Even he has his doubts about it's effectiveness as a currency. Have you read "The Emperor's New Clothes"
