I am afraid that both sides of government are ecstatic that they finally have a generation of citizens (even if they had to import them) that demand less freedom. That is the holy grail of power hungry politicians everywhere.

  3. That's the view of those who believe, "my view is correct, yours is wrong".

That's a "Lefty, Communist, Nazi" view. Was never supposed to be "America".

So let me ask... who assaults the huge majority of black violence victims? Other blacks. The huge majority of Islamic terror attacks are directed at other Muslims. Statistically a gay man is far more likely to be assaulted by another gay man than anyone else.

Can you show how your comment is in any way pertinent to the discussion that a conservative on a liberal enclave such as Berkley is likely to be assaulted by violent left-wing zealots simply for being a conservative.

By your logic most violent crimes are not committed out of political ideology and thus this whole thread is a non-issue.

It's pertinent because the thread about the threat of violence because of what you believe or who you are.

It's not by his logic, but by statistics and facts. Most violent crime is not committed out of political ideology. However, this thread is about a specific demographic - college students and the colleges they go to.

You answered maxpi's comment that someone found out to be conservative at Berkeley risks assault with "Everywhere in the US, blacks, muslims, gays, and women say the same thing", which is both unrelated to the topic and massively hyperbolic, bordering on untrue.

Pretty sure there isnt a SINGLE conservative on this forum who thinks its acceptable to assault those people, so how is that a justification for assaulting conservatives? Are you just trying to even the score?

  9. You do realize that you're trying to talk sense to a lunatic? These people are lost in their delusion. There's no helping them.

You can't really blame these college students for these attitudes. These people are nothing more than the product of the US public school system. If their parents had money and could afford to send them to a private prep school, they are all worst off for it, because these prep schools push more of a left-wing agenda than the public schools.

The elites want schools to produce students that are smart enough to produce, but dumb enough that they really don't question the status quo. Teaching Constitutional rights is certainly at the bottom of the priorities list.
