A border deal: Is Trump about to put the hammer down or to go full flaccid and disgrace himself?

I watched a bit of Beto's rally along with about 1,200 other viewers live on YouTube.

There were about 5 rows of people before some sort of walk through where people walked across, left, whatever, in front off the camera. Not sure whose camera it was, though. Said it was CBS news but the jerking was a la Paul Greengrass after a bottle of tequila. A large bottle, actually.

President Trump will take what he can. It is not like RINOs have done enough to get border wall funding? Democrats keep bringing that up that Republicans fully controlled Congress but, never funded a border wall? Simple reason is RINO liberals have been opposing President Trump from the get go! Democrats have the huge advantage of being united in opposition to President Trump and RINO liberals going along with Democrats further enlarge their advantage! Time for President Trump to use the budget for the Department of Defense. Since, a number of bases are situated near the border, he can simply direct the Department of Defense to shore up the security around US military bases including, building walls if needed! In addition, Republican governors in border states should be urged to fund border wall funding and putting up barriers or walls to secure their borders. Texas is already doing so! Do that for all border states with Republican governors and legislature and Democrats would have a hard time stopping border wall construction! In addition, more aggressive deportations of illegals with final deportation orders! Deport them by the thousands and while, more costly, to US taxpayers, go a long way to neutralizing the flood of tens of thousands of migrants!

  7. Looks to me like Beto tried to increase his crowd size by holding his rally on the Mexican side of the border.

Okay fine I guess. Trump went where his base was and Beto did the same.

$1.375 billion for border barrier enhancements like steel slats and other "existing technologies," but no concrete wall

The money would fund about 55 miles of new barrier
Geographic restrictions on where the new fencing could built, likely limited to the Rio Grand Valley sector of the border

DHS would receive $1.7 billion in new funding for border security that could include technology at ports of entry, additional customs officers and humanitarian aid

No cap on the number of beds for enforcing immigration laws in the country's interior

Funding for approximately 40,520 detention beds for detained immigrants

Nancy said "no funding for the wall..... ever".

Looks like a $1.375B down payment. Thanks Nancy! We'll be back for the rest next funding cycle.

Hillary beat Trump by 45 points in El Paso and she could probably only draw a crowd of 300.Beto would beat Trump in El Paso even worse.Beto would do better in Texas against Trump than Trump would against Beto in New York .Beto actually has a very good chance of winning Texas in 2020.Trump has no chance of winning New York in 2020.
