a beginner's attempt at the pairs

I trade GBPUSD and EURJPY they have good momo and there spread cost to average move size is better than most, DAX is my main priority though.

Don't over think it, don't predict, just re-act is my advice.

I definitely take into account what US indices are doing some pairs run with and some run the other way. Double tops/bottoms, H&S and big spikes. You know the usual classic formations. For right now, because I'm a complete beginner to forex too. Maybe we can learn together.

 

Yep I like what I see in the cable too. EURJPY, I'll have to take a look at this one. Not on my charts yet.
