So just wonder, what do you take into account when you determine long-short positions?

 

I was hoping for a bear trend after the second higher high but because there was speech on US interest rate change, all USD pairs were affected yesterday. Other non-US pairs weren't affected though, so all temporary shock were corrected

 

thanks guys, i'm an engineer by training i want to quantify everything i do too.

if i could, i would creat an algo but i don't know what i am doing, so wing it right now.

if you can't quntify, then you don't really know what you are doing.
