No other vendor that I am aware of has ever come onto a place like ET and INVITED negative feedback. Dispite my honest effort to find a single unsatisfied client here we have still had no one come forward and say that they had a negative experiance with me. In fact the only people who have stepped forward to say they have experiance with me have had positive things to sayThere is a reason for that! I started charging for my services back when the Nasdaq was the NASDAQ (the bull) and I have taken my clients through every kind of market between then and now. In fact, I still have over half of my original subscribers. Again, I doubt there is another vendor that could claim that. To find out why we can not get ANY negative feedback on me I would like to invite you to visit http://www.brandonfredrickson.com . I have a blog there that you can view intraday, I update it often. I also have an email that goes out to those of you who provide your email address to me off the main page. This email has specific stock trading ideas with exact entry and exit criteria. All you have to do to get this is give me your email address. I do not share it with anyone else. To find out why dispite specifically asking for it I can not get any negative feedback take the time to come to http://www.brandonfredrickson.com and sign up for our free list. Once you do that, you will have no question as to why people who have experianced what I have to offer have nothing negative to say about it.

    All my best

Over the last several days the threads I have posted to on ET have been bombarded by people who have an agenda. They do not like vendors of any type and in their mind there is nothing a person who has something to sell the active trading community can do to prove legitamacy. These people have followed me from thread to thread with generic comments of "all vendors suck" and other original thoughs. Maybe its because I grew up poor white trash in a trailer, but I cant stand it when people throw mud at me, especially with nothing what-so-ever to back it up. In other words people who are talking out their asses.

So- I started several threads today on ET trying to give people who have a legit gripe against me the opportunity to air that complaint. I would consider a legit complaint to be one that comes from a person who has subscribed to any of the products I have offered and who thinks I did them wrong. I started the first thread (http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50611) here in hopes of finding a SINGLE person who would come forward and say they had a negative experiance with me. I asked all of those who have not tried my serivices to stand aside and let those who have serious complaints come forward. A few people with agenda's against anyone who sells products posted generic comments and complaints, but not one single current or former client of mine came forward to say I offered a bad product. Those people continued to bash me and so I started another thread (http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50611&perpage=6&pagenumber=1) where I actually offered to pay for people to complain about me. As you can see by reading that thread NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON CAME FORWARD . I can't even pay for complaints on Elite Trader, which is full of people who complain. What does that tell you?

I am done with these threads now as I think I have proven my point. I apologize to all of you on ET who have better things to do with your time than watch a pissing contest between myself and a few people who are mad at the world. If you want to see why I cant even pay for complaints sign up for my FREE email list at www.brandonfredrickson.com

I begged and even offered to pay for negative feedback from clients. However, this is all I got.

I spent a couple of months in your room way back when and will say it was a pleasant experience and Ive always held a high opinion of you and Toni since. Your a little rough around the edges sometimes but that is a plus imo as the real con men are pretty smooth. That being said the nature of this forum ensures that you will get bashed, but Im sure you can handle it.

ps. I still use a couple of setups I learned there.

I agree...hes looking pretty good right now...even if his trading may suck..I have no idea..but for someone to step up to the plate and ask about his service; leads me to believe he aint hiding from no one..and thats a positive sign...peace El Cubano

Brandon, I've never been a paid subscriber. But I've read stuff you've (or Toni) written and posted at various points in the past, and always enjoyed it and learned something.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't worry about the single poster who was disappointed.

I have no idea about Mr. Fredrikson, what he trades, how he trades, or anything like it, however, I think some things need to be pointed out.

First, from the very few things I was on his site, all I found was stock information. This excludes him from NFA oversight immediately, so the CTA debate is moot.

Second, if he is covering futures, he doesn't necessarily need to be registered. Registration is needed if he is giving specific trade recommendations, e.g. but CLN5 at 55.0 stop. If he is saying something like "crude looks like it could be a solid long trade above 55" then he is not giving specific advice, and is therefore not required to register. Remember the acronym; Commodity Trading Advisor. Regardless of whether he has 4 or 4000 clients, if he is not giving specific advice, he's exempt.

Third, people seem to forget trading is a business. I have a feeling many people on this board have no idea about business tactics. If there is a market for advise, there will be advisors. The whole "if you're good at trading, then just trade" concept is flawed at best. If you can make some extra coin by "mentoring" someone else at a price of $1000 per week, and still trade while you do it, then why shouldn't you do it? Lets say you hit a drawdown in your trading, but you still have clients lining up. Now you have some coin coming in even when you're in a trading slump. This is diversification of your business.

Fourth, this guy started to get pissed after three pages of rude or negative comments from people he specifically asked not to post in the original post. I have never seen Brandonf spam for clients like the shady vendors that come and go around here. He usually has good and relevant input in his postings. He's trying to run a business; cut the guy some slack.

Ok, there's my two cents. Flam on if you have to, but I think this board needs to focus on some positive or constructive postings, as it is quickly turning into a forum for juvenile quabbling.

If you want to bitch and moan, go find an online game board. Most of us here claim to be professionals; lets at least try to act like ones.

Edit: Please note this is the 6th page in 2.5 hours, and 90% is bitching and moaning about general vendors and their shortcomings, whether it be trading or regulatory. None of this has been in the spirit of the original post.

I have met brandon for a beer and years before that I did a demo in his room.

Iwas not there long enough to say he makes money or not. But I think he may have lost a little on the futures and made money on the stocks. Overall there were some pretty good calls made in the room.

Now for the real reason I posted

    Someone said

"Vendors like Zanger at chartpattern.com, larry williams, Oneil, Raschke, Tim Treubenbach, Larry Connors.. all fall into these categories. They all can prove that they have made serious loot trading"

    This is sort of ironic.

I have seen a thread question the legimacy of zanger and especially his record the last few years.

Larry Williams has been challenged by public book writers like the winner take all guy gallacher. He has had run ins with regulatory bodies. At one point in time I got his service for free for a little while from a futures broker. (he got smoked, losing trade after losing trade) I have heard he puts on a nice seminar though and trades part of the seminar fees.

O'neil himself has destroyed two "new america" type mutual funds. So I question his record of achievement.

But my own account and someone here who sent me stats Rashke lost money the six months I paid for her service. Her calls lost money while she said she was scalping well. (This was a few years ago. She mentioned she was starting a fund to keep her trades in and show the world what she was doing. I never saw the results.

Trunebach I have no experience with.

And connors has some very interesting somewhat retarded research about the vix. Based on very limit sample sizes and after the fact systems building. Does anyone know how he is doing real time? If the vix systems were so good how come he keeps revising them? Data mining perhaps?

My interactions with Brandon have always been first class. I, nor anyone I know have nothing but positive things to say about him.

I tried out the room "trading from main street" or something like that a while back when it was getting started and during its free phase. I was impressed at the amount of time Brandon and Toni put in chatting after hours. The low level of the chat room participants (newbies worshiping) put me off a bit. I learned a couple of interesting things from Brandon, and he does stress risk management a lot, but can't say I'm using any of his techniques but the time spent there was a good experience and Brandon was scalping like a madman!

I also spent time in Nihaba's room for a longer time. I really like that room though I'm not there anymore for some time. The rules were a bit strict but there is a very high level of trader and learning from the different techniques is a valuable experience. Nihaba is a very generous individual with his time and patience for the questions of others and there were a handful of very good traders in there when I was logging in.

My own conclusion is that the only time I really want to be on chat is when my trading stations go down as I find it distracting from the focused concentration on the markets and clear mind I like to have while trading. I also would state that I would never pay for a chat room.

Damn, you dudes gotta chill out. Why you all taggin up on Brandon? Just piss off if you have no experience with him. Brandon I respect what you are doing here. There are not much people out there with the balls to ask for feedback in public!

Thank you Brandon, I've never subscribed your services but I've learned a lot from your informative posts in the past. I especially enjoyed your last video about trading the gap.

I like picking up little things like that all over from ET and integrate it into my system.

Hope to read more of your tips in the future

    Happy trading.

I don't know Brandon personally, but I've seen him offer LOTS of free trading advice over the last 3 years. If there's anyone on this board to give the benefit-of-the-doubt-until-proven-otherwise, it's Brandon. (Oh, and me of course... but I'm not offering anything but needling and smart-ass sarcasm

I was a broker for a lot of years. If the majors put as much effort in training their brokers as this guy does educating prospects, they wouldn't be in the mess they are in.

The guy seems sincere, his information is timely, cogent, well supported by graphics.

It's a buffet. He's broccoli to some, filet to others. If you don't like broccoli, don't eat it. But I think there are people who are willing to invest in education, and I think he'll treat them well. Not that that doesn't always happen.............

Besides that, how much porn can you surf????????????? LOL

I just started trading two months ago, and ironically I have made money while everyone has been warning me I'm going to lose money at the onset.

I credit Brandon Fredrickson for at least 50% of my success right now. I believe I have been able to avoid a lot of n00b mistakes due to his advice (all free by the way).

I am also indebted to Alan Farley (hardrightedge) and for his book The Master Swing Trader which I am working through right now.

I feel very fortunate to be learning trading right now, despite hearing that 2005 is a tough year, and that June is supposedly going to be one of the toughest months.

    Thank you Brandon!

  6. Brandon, coming off arrogant and hostile towards everyone will not win you any new customers. I suggest you post an AUDITED track record for these people to review, if not, no one will take you seriously. If you can't do that, IMO you are not worth investing the time and money in.

Sure, go ahead and flame me b/c I have NO experience with you.....
I never will, unless you can post an Audited track record.

In your eloquent words, put up or "shut the fuck up" :D
