monty, I'll hold a postion til EOD, then close it out. I try to hold for target or stop and not move my stops around too much.
monty, I agree with you on this. Most times I use a minimum of .25 on DIA and SPY. You are one of the few who agree with me on this I guess. With this trade DIA was already up alot and it was in a tight range, I felt if it broke that .40 it was showing weakness. It stopped me right at .40, then turned and rallied 3points. You were 100% correct on this!
03/24/09: Total P/L +157.81 6 trades 2 wins 4 losses I made a mistake on my first trade and put in too many shares, but got lucky and it went to target. I kept trying to play higher lows on FAZ and the last trade finally paid off.
geez, 1st off thank you very much for your contributions. I've been following your thread with interest and was wondering if you could comment on your thought process when entering FAZ. From what I can descern you went into the day with a bearish bias. FAZ established a pattern of higher lows which triggered your entry. Were there additional factors that contributed to your entry? Thanks again for the great thread.
thanks blue, I'm not ignoring your question, I would like to go into some details on each FAZ trade from yesterday ,but I am at work now, so I will get back to it later today (about 4pm).....hope it will be helpful for you.
03/25/09: I would like to see one more day of pullback in the markets and then start looking long. BIOS( CEPH AMGN) look weak today and I will look to short them. JAVA looks long. STX may be an early scalp short play. Good Trading all!
