Thanks, Puddles, for all your effort here. I've a few questions for you guyses: How do you determine size? Do you "weigh" setups and choose larger size on certain setups that have a lot of confluence? For example, the stock is strong, the market's strong, and it's put in a higher low and pivoted off a rising 20-bar MA, would you go long larger size?
(waits for geez to make "size" joke) All trades have the same size max stop dollar amount. nice and easy. If I'm adding to an existing trade I'll size accordingly so that if the 2nd leg stops out it won't wipe out everything gained from the original entry. nod, you should swing by one day..
Beat me to the punch on size thingy!!! Damn it Jim!! But, my size MUCH bigger than puddles (for now at least...but he growing by the minute)
I came back to this post to refer to something that I thought I had read last year. To my surprise, who do I see? No other then Geez and the gang!!!........and the thread, it seems, has re-ignited itself, albeit with Geez and The Gang assuming new positions (a promotion, I suppose). Geez, thanks for coming back (as a mentor, this time round) and helping the rest of us trying to get there. NoDoji, thanks for the input (as an assistant mentor?) you have on Puddles trades, it give an additional insight to Geez. Puddles, a big shout out to you, for putting up the charts and your trades; we are learning a lot from this. You, it seems, have taken Geez's spot from last year. You still have a little ways to go, before you get to challenge Geez, but the way I see you are improving by the day, I have no doubt you will get there faster than we all think. Nice to see Geez and The Gang back in full throttle!!!
