Call me paranoid but I always enter a trade with a bracket order. It can be changed as you manage the trade but at least you have the order on the brokers server if something goes wrong.
agree 100% DDog that's why having a good broker(one with bracket orders, among other things) is essential to someone looking to do this for a living. my buddy got me good when he told me I was going to use scottrade for this adventure.
15:12 600 SPY EXIT 83.15 P/L -214.02 was .04 from target, but since it was the last trade of the week I let it go all the way to the stop instead of b/e stop...bad geez.bad!.......
