Why is following your system irregardless of news a "huge gamble"? System says take a trade - do it. I would think that if nothing else, folks would learn the value of trusting in and taking system signals - if you don't trust your system that is altogether a different matter. geez has shown multiple times that you take the system trades and let the stop and target sort out the winners and losers.

 

what traderyin is saying is that you run the risk of huge negative slippage ahead of a number regardless of stop locations.
