What a bunch of bullshit fox news propaganda.
Guess what dumbass? We rank close to the bottom in healthcare in industrialized nations. These "marxist " healthcare systems leave us down
at around #37 for life expectancy.
Everybody is covered and they do it for half the cost of our system. How do like them apples-moron?
Personally when im paying for healthcare i dont want it being siphoned off by some snotbag middleman into the wall st ponzi crap...There should be no middle man in healthcare...There is no pricetag on human life.Humans are not for sale. The idea of having cutoffs or pre existing condition clauses clearly is obscenely immoral and criminal.

Our hc should be modeled after all the other systems in the industrial world.Maybe then our lifespan would catch up to theirs. The only option that there should be is an option to choose to risk your life and savings to an hmo plan.We need Govt run healthcare since hmo's cant run an affordable one.All this crap about govt cant do anything right is bs,just look at how freemarkets and big business ran this country into the ground again.Damn, wall st makes the post office look like geniuses.

  3. Let's be serious here for a moment. How in the world can we have a rational discussion about health care when you have nitwits that actually believe that a business can operate without making profits? Sadly, a majority of congress and senate are like minded. Now you can argue the profits are obscene and costs need to be controlled, and I would agree. But to argue that profits are the sole problem is absurd.
This is another perfect illustration of the insanity that permeates the radical left. Last November, we as a nation, decided to put the inmates in charge of the asylum. This decision is not without consequence. The consequence in regard to health care is that we'll all pay a lot more money, for a lot less care.

  4. There is too much excess, gluttony, self-abuse. Health care costs will never come down and lifespan will not increase until the denial of the underlying issues are dealt with - 'Whatever happens to me is someone else's fault and problem to fix. You take care of me.' I think most everyone knows that, whether they like it or not.

If you look at the longest lived cultures, you will find that they have primitive health care and a primitive diet. As their diets become westernized, their lifespan drops and cost of health care increases accordingly.

Profits is a check and balance of how good a company is providing services to its customer.
A company with happy customers will be more successful and should be more profitable.
With no profit incentive (government) it is difficult to measure if customers are happy or if they are getting their dollars worth.
Insurance does have competition and most people have no problem with their services.
Employer tax free insurance really is the worst thing for people. It locks workers into programs with much less choice.

Your health is not a business.
How people choose to ignore the successful healthcare systems in the rest of the industrialized world is another example of willful ignorance of the right wing. They do it better and for less money-seems like these marxist/socialist/commie countries beat us at capitalism in that respect huh?Its astonishing that everything in the right wing world is quantified, qualified and justified in the name of profits.Even your health is a commodity in the 'freemarket' world.

I cant wait til police protection is commoditized by the insurance industry.Imagine your house is being robbed by armed thugs and your family is about to be murdered and you call the police only to be told that your police coverage has been denied.

Its unbeleivable that people can ignore the obvious immorality of the HMO model.

  7. If private insurers say that the marketplace provides the best quality health care, if they tell us that they're offering a good deal, then why is it that the government – which they say can't run anything – suddenly is going to drive them out of business?

...Why is it that the med ins industry has an ANTI TRUST EXEMPTION?Who in the hell is allowed to have an anti trust EXEMPTION?And why do they need that?Because they know they have a rigged market scam that should be illegal???They themselves know they are guilty.
Anti trust exemption sure sounds like commie, socialist stuff to me, dont it?
