9/20/05: The Only Direction To Trade Is...

  1. Good for you. But you never said what position you took and when you closed them. For all we know, you scalped for a few pennies.

And how about all the other failed calls that you wont fess up to. Like the blown call you made that resulted in my personal gain. It takes a man to admit when he is wrong. It takes an insecure loser when he refuses to do so.

If you are any good hotshot, I encourage you to open up a trading journal and post your trades. And we aren't talking about fly by night daytrades or scalps.

We are talking about position trades lasting 3 days or more. Not your style or too much of a wuss to do it?

    Then STFU and trade.

  2. Proves nothing. He didn't mention his entry or exit. For all we know, he took 25 cents off of it. Or maybe even faded it if he likes to fade breakouts. Nor does it say if he held the position or daytraded it.

Unless you go on the line and make the call, it means very little.

  3. I believe that the threads above are pretty obvious in regards to LLL and the SPX in that they are position trades and not merely some sort of a scalp.

Your arrogance is really something, and I suspect that it is the same kind of arrogance that allows you to average down into a losing short position the day that the market has a massive OUTSIDE REVERSAL DAY to the upside.

    Good Luck to you.

  4. From what I have seen, this individual has an amazing propensity to call moves AFTER they occur. From his arrogant and condescending posts, he would have you believe he was long at the bottom, but that is never the case with him. He will more than likely enter long and have the market reverse upon him immediately.

I hate to say it and you may be right in the end but you have gone from a nice profit to a sizeable loss on this trade and you belittle other traders styles? Maybe a lesson in humility is in order?

  7. I've seen posts from Apex Capital where he shows you his chart with all the indicators on it, puts an arrow going "up", then a week later the issue collapses and continues to. Granted he has made some good calls. But lets be fair about this - he's no better of a trader than an average Joe sitting in a retail prop shop clicking away like a madman.

Those charts magically disappear off the forums.

  8. I guess you don't know how to hold long term do you. Don't you have any money invested in the stock m arket? Llike in 401Ks or muual funds? Are ou going to wuss out if your mutual fluctuates up and down 1%? You'll be going in and out like a crack addict.

I LIKE TO THINK OF MINE AS *DE-INVESING"

  9. And since when does a MASSIVE OUTSIDE REVERSAL DAY result in further upside? That's your belief system since you are obviously biased long.

It's not mine if I feel we are in a downtrend, right?

So what is your point on being on this forum? To stick to topic or to bash based on your biased belief?

Thus, your posts are meaningless to the original premise of this thread and have added no value. My post is to build a case for a bear downtrend . Your arguing the other way.

Why don't you start a journal and rah rah as a bull?
