I have a 2 year old d-link wireless cable router, its a B level. Is it worth it to upgrade to a g based router for security purposes? If my router is a g but my pc card is a b, does it even help to have the faster g router? Does the speed even matter for cable since the b router can handle speed s higher than cable? Are these cheap 40 $ units of any value for security? I like the wireless so I can keep a notebook downstairs and have an interneT connection. Thank you for any assistance
