Democrats are in for a drubbing unless Donald Trump injects himself into conversation. People have been arguing Virginia was a Biden +10 state, when in fact it was more like a Trump -7 state.
No. You make some valid points about the supply chain part of it but then try to use it to explain away all of the Biden Tax......a/k/a inflation. Lets just say that multi-trillion here and multi-trillion there and pretty soon it adds up.......and is. Oh, I see. Paid for.
The Brandon adminstartion never even studied the container situation If they did they would have realized that early this year that all the empty containers were in the USA China had run low of empty containers and that started the price increase For 2020 we made fewer shipments to China and never sent back the empties
As discussed on a daily basis. Not going to do a full replay for you as is your game. If you know nothing about the inflationary forces at play in Biden's economy, then that is fine. The American public knows.
The inflation talk was a big discussion on a weekly basis in the fall of 2020 on CNBC and Bloomberg (especially on Bloomberg)... Then the news shifted back to the U.S. Presidential Elections. In fact, I remember the first business day after Biden was inaugurated...there were three opening headlines on Bloomberg...U.S. Capitol Insurrection, Inflation, and a story about Federal Reserve/Interest Rates. The Inflation story got the least headlines. It slowly became more important of a story after the Delta Variant hit the economy and the pace of rising food prices and Europe inflation numbers begin increasing too. It then recently became a big deal when fuel prices started to dramatically increase along with the headline that consumers are "willing to pay...they have the record-breaking savings". Yet, the Pandemic is still here and Europe is panicking again...that's when I knew we were fucked again because people do not understand the connection of a prolonged Pandemic (stats shown in a prior chart I posted in this thread) on the economy versus a short-term Pandemic like last year (Nov - Dec) when people had the illusion that the Pandemic is almost over...we now have vaccines. Like I said before, solve the Pandemic problem (it showed its in control via the Delta Variant)...they will solve the inflation problem because the two are strongly connected. Biden Administration didn't cause inflation but there's an illusion that he could have fixed it or prevented it from getting worst in the middle of a Delta Variant surge. Reality, a prolonged Pandemic and the Economy was their biggest concern prior to taking office because they saw how deeply connected the two were. wrbtrader
Right. Fuel costs have put the latest pressure on prices but much of this inflation is year over year in comparison to a deflationary time too. Fuel came in up 59% over last year.
