What the hell is wrong with people? SEAFORD, Del. (AP) - An eight-year-old Seaford boy is facing adult charges for an alleged rape. The state attorney general's office signed the arrest warrant Wednesday, although the boy has not been arrested. According to the Seaford police, the boy, whose name is not being released because of his age, raped a ten-year-old girl. Both are students at Seaford Elementary School. Police say the boy had an accomplice - a 17-year-old boy - and an arrest warrant for the older boy is expected later this week. The victim's mother, who doesn't want to be identified, tells WBOC-TV the alleged rape occurred in August. She says the boys approached her daughter while she was riding her bicycle, knocked her down and took her away. A spokesman with the attorney general's office says the case against the younger boy could go to Family Court. The spokesman says prosecutors are unsure of what disciplinary action would be sought because this may be the youngest sex offender case they've ever had.
